Ivanhoe Canal Launch?

Does anyone know if and where there is a launch around the Ivanhoe canal that opens up to cote blanche bay?

Montauk I lived on 318 my parents and grandparents still live on 318. I don't know of any launch on Ivanhoe. I know you used to be able to get to Ivanhoe from the Intracoastal, but haven't tried that in years so I don't know if it is even possible anymore.

yea, its three dollars to launch, not a very big ramp dont know how a big boat would do, we launch a 16ft alum. hull there and its ok but a big boat might be a little tight. good fishing though

Haha....not really man,I been fishing there a while its just a long run from patout or cypremort. I never fished the ivanhoe itself, usually fish east of the canal by cote blanche island and father east. There is reds everywhere right now, just trying to get away from the crowds and pleasure boats.

I was on that end today, bracing up another tree at a camp. went down that lil road to the left before you go over the bridge right after the tracks. I was looking to see if I could get to the water under the bridge

turn onto Alice B rd, when you get to the intersection take a left, next road on right is intracoastal rd. turn onto it, gravel road past huge house and theres the ramp, pay the dude and go catch some fish

google maps has it pretty clear so that should help also

prolly get to that landing a lil faster than going to quintana looks like, might be a good place to dock my small boat and fish the i/c for some cats

Yeah its right past the the intracoastal bridge looking at the map. I hate dealing with people at cypremort point. When we go there I usually launch with my podna,he is in the yacht club at bayview...members only.

speck-chaser 08-12-2010 05:11 PM

Sounds like it,but its only 30 bucks a month. You just have to know someone that knows someone type of deal to get in the club.
