Sicily Island

I have the opportunity to purchase some acreage in the Sicily Island area. The owner of the property tells me that there is excellent deer and duck hunting on the property. Any opinions about the duck hunting and the deer heard in this area would be appreciated.

I've heard from a few locals around that area that they have some pretty nice deer. I've never seen anything first hand and I don't know if they were pulling my leg or not either. I just been there a few times to ride 4wheelers, never to hunt.

Very good deer in that area! All farm land, lots of soybeans, Tensas parish to the east & north east which has some monster deer & lots of ducks. I would say definetly worth checking out!

There is good duck hunting in Mangham which is north of that. Wish I could help more

hills or farmland

I hunt in the hills near the wma. there are not alot of deer but the ones you see have big bodies and good genes.

Seen some nice bucks killed off the wma. Tough hunting because of the terrain. One of my friends has a couple of wall hangers from the hills.

How many acres? If you don't buy please pass the info along to me. I sold my land 2 years ago and have been looking since.

good deer hunting, good turkey hunting. BUT let me tell you if you are in the hills, they are some HILLS. It is a really cool place flat land all around and then all of a sudden big freakin hills!

Duck hunting is good in the area, seems late season is better

Don't mess with it if it is WRP.
