Data retrieval from hard drive

Does anyone know where I can get data retrieved from my hard drive? My hard drive failed on my desktop and my wife is all upset because she had lots of pictures on it and now it doesn't work.:help:

If you were closer to New Iberia I could do it for you. Try calling different computer technicians around where you live, they could do it for you.

Did you ever get this taken care of? If not, I might be able to help you out. Shoot me a PM with your phone number.

Still working the problem. Right now I'm in the process of installing a RAID 1 on my computer. Haven't had much time to mess with it much. Just the formatting of the HDDS takes hours and I'm having a bit of trouble installing the RAID drivers for Windows XP to recognise the hard drives. :pissed: I can get the windows installed and the computer to recognise each hard drive individually, but it's being stubborn when I try to do an install as a RAID. Right now I'm using the laptop waiting on the format to finish. Not that I need a 750 Gb HD, but two of them were cheaper than two of the 500Gb identical to what I have. Naturally, the warranty on my WD hard drive just ran out. I'll be in touch once I get this beast running again.

No problem, just let me know if you need some help with recovering the pics.
