Headed out to the pernt yesterday afternoon. We were greeted with pretty, but whitcapped water right out of the quintana canal. The wind made for a tough afternoon, but we ended up with a few reds and a few specks. Fished the island, and the pass. All of our fish were caught on artificials. I didnt really want to keep the bull red,but he had swallowed my crankbait too deep, and was bleeding a lot,so He bacame a half shell.

I went this morning, got to the bay around 8:30, caught 2 undersized reds and a couple croakers but didn't keep them. The wind picked up so I headed back in. I just fished the banks around the Chene and the Delcambre Canal. Not too many people out there this morning.
