Very High tide today
 

A friend went to BL this morning about 8am and reported abnormally high tide conditions. I checked online and sure enough the tides were at least 1 ft higher than the charts predicted and di not fall early as predicted byt rather began to fall close to Noon. I am planning on going in the morning and wondering if anyone knows what is causing this and if it is to be expected in the morning.
