Just got a call asking if I could go to Lake Charles for a week or so for work. I'm assuming they mean Sulphur since that's where the majority of the plants are at over there. If I wind up going, some of us are gonna have to hook up while I'm there. I'll be havin a pole and tackle in my hotel with me for sure, if I wind up there! Not sure yet.

I've gotten to where I don't much like to travel anymore but, sometimes, you just have to.

I'll let everybody know what I find out.

Where? Most likely gonna be Conoco/Philips. When? It sounds like the job starts on Monday. How long? 1 to 2 weeks.

The only hold up is if they'll let me off next Saturday. My kids are being baptised(sp?) and I can't miss that...I won't miss that! If they can't let me go for a day, which I understand if they can't, then no dice. If they will let me off for that day, it's on.

Likely working 12's so my time fishing will be limited but, I figure I may be able to sneak in a couple of evening trips if someone is willing to show me around or time allows. If nothing else, would like to get together with some of the guys on the west side and knock a couple of cold ones down.

Set for Monday. 7 12's @ Conoco/Philips. I guess we got all the kinks worked out so, all is well! I do hate leaving my wife and kids but, I am looking forward to catchin up wit some y'all!

Change of plans...

I have to be there Tuesday morning for orientation and start work Wednesday morning. Translation?, if anybody wants to make a fishing trip Tuesday afternoon, I wanna go!!! I'll buy the gas and drinks! I should be out of orientation no later than 11am. Who wants to go?!!
