Floor Covering Idea's

I have an 03' Tracker Targa with tan carpet in it. I'm wanting to change it out and I was thinking about putting that roll in bed liner stuff. Then I thought since that stuff is black it would be pretty hot. I'm not really wanting to go back with carpet, does anyone have any suggestions?

STAY AWAY from the bed liners, they get slick as owl **** when wet or muddy.

I did a 18' aluminum boat a couple years ago. Takes alot of cleaning,(dirt, carpet glue etc.) mainly used a wire wheel on a 4" grinder to clean & rough it up so it will adhere. Bought the spray in liner that could be tinted, tinted it light grey, came out really good, sold the boat, the guy that owns it now hasn't had a problem with it & it's been about 4 years. The spray gun came with the liner.

Call around to autopaint distributors, some will carry a spray "tintable" liner.

Yea, I'm hearing more bad about the bed liner then good. That safe-floor looks nice but I bet it's $$$$. Here's a pic. of what I've got to do.

When you remove the carpet you will have large gaps around the compartment lids & rod lockers. Also around the consoles & there will be places under the carpet around your decks that are not welded solid & have large gaps. Just be prepared to see holes & large gaps
