nice catch in that wind bro. didnt even bother today, after all of my trailer happenings, wasnt gung ho about fighting the winds too.

aquaholic78 10-09-2010 10:39 PM

how was the water dude?

Country Boy 10-09-2010 10:48 PM

friends went out today and caught 4 specks, it must be kinda slow out there.

I think the wind had a lot to do with the fishin today. Got out of the camp this morning about 6 and the waves were rolling. Calmed down a little right before lunch, then picked up again this afternoon. Water still looks fairly descent. Beautiful around weeks bay.

Nice catch in that wind bro.Made a late afternoon trip today fished from 2 till 6. Wanted to catch some trout but did not feel like messing with the wind. Caught 4 keeper reds,2 bull reds,2 flounder, and a big ole sheephead in weeks bay. Weather man was way off today once again!

Nice catch,i am offshore right now but know a few guys that did good around mud point yesterday. If you want to catch reds they were still stacked up on the north bank around the boston canal when i left thursday.

I believe majority of fish are still offshore. We had a four person limit yesterday and nearly a three today. All extremely small but its fun and fast. We met up with a guy that we see out there a lot and he stayed inside and he didn't do any good either. Hit and miss as usual in the bay.

Where is Boston Canal?

boggycreek 10-10-2010 11:49 PM

If you put down at don's landing go all the way down to the bay, hang a left and start fishing the bank. From avery canal hang a right,go down till you see the old tank battery platform and start fishing that bank westward.

Cool I didn't know that's what it was called. I was on a rig there a couple of years ago. That's the canal with the camps on it right?

There are 2 canals between the ICW and the bay. One is the The Boston and the other is The Chene. The Chene is a short canal that has about 20-25 camps and The Boston is a much longer canal that has 40+ camps.
