Dularge Marsh Fishing

Dularge Trout & Reds

Hit the marsh early this AM in search of some reds and found a nice surprise. Trout & plenty of them! The fish were all over the surface feeding in a frenzy with shrimp jumping everywhere all around the boat. I would have never found these fish in my large bayboat and my 17ft prodrive came in handy today. Jake Henderson,Chris and I whacked 57 nice trout before the bite tapered off. All nice trout ranging from 13-17inches. Jake wanted to get a few reds to BBQ on the grill and we found 8 or 9 fish quickly keeping 3 for Jake to bring home. A beautiful morning in the marsh and this great fall weather sure is nice! Going check the area again tomorrow to see if this was a fluke or the real thing. Good luck fishing.
