Where did the water go
Went to the Jetties Saturday and thought I was on another planet... Where did all the water go :confused: And what's with the new islands?

What jetties? There are only about 150 of them in La.

I was down there yesterday and everything looked normal.
Never seen islands around the jetties in almost 50 years.
Something don't sound right.

they are putting dredge spoil on the outside of the west jetty, hence the "island"
|
Oh, I thought he meant in the Calcasieu.

They will be filling in some eroded areas North of the Holly Beach highway and some will be pumped just off the beach on the West side of the Jetties.
