They put on the news last night and this morning that if you drive a SUV to take caution driving over the bridges.

I passed over 210 bridge this morning at 4:30 and it was blowing my truck all over.

Winds humping down here in Delcambre, been keeping up with it since we making lifts with the cranes, avg has been 21 mph with the strongtest gust 37 mph. Were right on the Delcambre canal & the water is gone!

Thats a good catch in that wind....it was gusting up to 40 in lafayette by the airport. Atleast you got to test your new boat in the waves.

A 55 is way too small for that boat, what were they thinking? 80lb will make life alot easier.

I think he said that boat was used only in fresh water. For saltwater, need something bigger.

I got a 55 lb thrust trolling motor on my 15' boat.......and wish I had something bigger.

I just did not want to go to a second battery at that time. Maybe when it finally needs replacing.

SaltyShaw 11-05-2010 11:46 AM

yeh once you step up above a 55 you have to switch to a 24 volt system right?
It just sucks because this m effer is brand new-ish
