Buy a lever action, you will love the gun. They are fun to shoot.

I have one. Love it. Fun to shoot around the camp. Great looking gun also.

Also you can shoot shorts
i used to shoot squirrels and rabbits in my back yard w/ a benjamin pellet gun but the shorts are quieter than the pellet gun.

I have one...I have a few complaints. One is that the front sight post is squared off, so its hard to get a real good bead on something. Secondly it has a lil more plastic on it then I care for. The biggest deal, I THINK IT'S A DEFECT IN MY GUN ONLY, is that the gun will still fire on half safety, which is the hammer pulled back about half way. I've just never got around to calling Henry about it to get it fixed they have good customer service from what I hear.

Other than that, I don't think you can beat a lever action 22, funnest shooting guns made in my opinion. So if you like lever actions you should also look at the browning lever action 22, I own both and shoot both, I personally prefer the browning.
