Trout/Redfish Slam On The DU!

A great day of fishing for Dave Wilson & James Bray yesterday. I think Dave is really taking a liking to the DU! Fed the guys fried trout, corn & crab bisque with jambalaya and they were out like a light! Dave whipped up a big breakfast and we were out the door for daybreak the next morning. We started out busting up the trout at our first 2 stops and left them biting to go chase reds. After catching nearly 50 nice trout Dave wanted to get a taste of our redfishing before flying back to Texas. Only fished about an hour and they got all the redfish action they wanted. Back at the camp for just after the noon hour with a nice mix of fish. Every fish was caught on LSU chubs except for Daves last redfish of the day. He was chunking a large ugly chartreuse spinner bait and hooked up on his last cast! What a way to end the day! Thanks again to Capt Travis Lovell for taking out Noel & Connie from Knoxville, TN. They had the time of their lives catching those bruiser reds!

Good luck fishing!!
