These guys are hardcore fisherman and were ready to put the SMACKDOWN on the reds and trout. Our day did get off to a slow start only catching about ten reds (mostly ratreds). We left our honeyhole to look around and only found one more red. Our third stop found the reds STACKED on top of each other....EVERYCAST BABY!!!!!! BJ had never caught reds everycast before and was amazed at the bite. LOL. After catching over fifty plus reds we decided it was time to look for trout. With the winds picking up it looked it like the trout bite was shut down as no one was catching anything (totally opposite from yesterday). Got a call from my good friend Tmiller saying he was on some trout. Made a quick move by Miller and 'IT WAS ON' (thanks again TMiller). Lonnie and BJ started slinging in the trout almost everycast in spurts! We filled up the box to the top again today and left the fish biting to head in. Dularge bite is off the charts as this has been the best December bite that I have experienced. Tons of trash talking on the boat today!!! GOOD TIMES FOR SURE. Thanks Lonnie, looking forward to our next trip!!! Capt. Marty LaCoste 985-856-4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
