guy's
i have a question that i would like to put before you today, i have tried in many way's to build my rod base in your fine state only to find that i have all but failed, yes i have built a good amt of rod's and i have some good friend's and yes i feel i have a good following. i also feel that my rep is fairly good or at best as good as i am going to be able to ever get it :*****:so there is not much i can do to increase my rodbuild's from that stand point and i feel that my prices for the most part are good and sometimes lower than they should be because i am trying to get a foot hold in your area, now with this said and with the new black viper blank's that i have as well as the new blue titanium guides for the spirlstix which has been shipped so they tell me along with the new eva split grips what can i do to make you guy's happy :cry: any help from you would be of value to me, if you want to send me a personal message and keep it that way that's fine, i just truly would like to have a better client based rod bidness with you guy's in mudland.
thank's for your time
stix

billy i love my rod . and recomend it to anyone......all i can tell you is i can't justify spending that kind of money for every rod when i only get to fish 10 times a year. also i have had the same rods for a long time so they don't wear out with the little bit of fishing i do....

this is my opion...but i don't make 8 figures like a few of these guys (say) they do

maybe i should have said im speaking for the poor people who work all the time and don't get to fish much. good luck.

Billy... I can't say anything negative about your rod! But I can tell you that I have been using custom made rods for about 6 years and grew a great relationship with the guys I deal with!
I'm a repeat customer over and over again,,,
My Reasons I stay is!
#1 rod is built my way to my specs
#2 Honest to my guys that if I break a rod due to my fault I tell them.
#3 any rod that breaks as per hook set or in use is covered 100% at no cost to me
#4 the rods I use are 200 to 250 dollars a rod, if I break one because of my own fault! I send to them and he charges me 50. To replace that rod!

I'm never charged shipping for a replacement or warranty rod.

In saying that.... I have a great relationship with those guys for that reason! I have sent them at lest 20 customers and I have purchased about 20 rods from them

Billy you build an awesome rod, and at some point thats all I'd like to own. but lets be honest, the economy sux bad right now and a fine fishing rod is a luxury item to be had. therefore it will be one of the first places to see the effects of the economy

its winter and people who hunt are spending there money on hunting right now, once spring comes around which I consider February spring people will consider buying rods, I like custom rods but I pay $145 for a custom spiral rod and I catch fish with it and it hasn't let me down! If I want one made special it takes 2-3 weeks, a pre-made custom rod I can pick up at one of the retailers he sell his rods at, easy and no wait!
