Yep, 1 more off the road now.

Wife sent me a text at 2:00am stating the power is out at the house. Guess what, there was a wreck on North Perkins Ferry Rd. here in Moss Bluff. Truck ran off the road and took out a utility pole, gas meter and who knows what else. TV showed the fool sitting in the back of the cop car.

6:35am and 1800 houses are still without power.

Wow! He'll be paying a hefty amount of bills for knocking all that out.

At last check (a customer taking out a power pole), they are getting almost $1700 to replace a power pole these days! Now, stack on a gas meter and 1800 residents without power or gas and, OUCH! Couldn't happen to a more deserving type...The drunk that drives.

We finally got power back at 7:05

All he will get from this DA office is a slap on the wrisp and his record will be wiped clean.

You try finding a belt in the dark....it's hard....

This dude's got a natural gas generator.
We's not without lectrickicity for more than 15 seconds.
