Need advice on fishing in hackberry

Heard the fishing is good in the area but never been and don't know much about area. Any advice? Camps for rent? Surf or launch the boat?

Launch the boat, stay north, fish slow and light. The only place I know to stay in Hackberry is at Spicers.

Will check into Carlyss, thanks. So surf fishing is a no go? Just bring the boat?
