Want opinions

I am looking at 2 different used boats right now.

1. 1998 model 21' 7" Kenner hull, 150 hp Johnson.

2. Unknown year model 22' Blue Wave, 200 hp Johnson.

Which is the better riding boat? Which is the drier ride?

The Kenner is ready to go but has no trolling motor. Price is $8500

The Blue Wave has GPS, fishfinder, radar, etc but needs about $3k in work to the motor. With repairs price is around $7800

Want opinions from people that have actually rode/owned either of these boats.

Thanks

Warren

Thanks Kenner18, but I am looking for something at least 21'. It will be used to go back and forth to my camp across Grand Lake mostly.

you need that 23 hydra sport thing takes a good chop and has lots of room.

I have a 19ft 2001 Kenner and it takes some serious chop for it's size so the 21 should be pretty damn good. Been in 3fters on big lake doing high 20's before and stayed pretty dry except for the cross wind spray. I've been in some blue waves and they also ride pretty good but they were newer so I don't know if the hull changed or not

Both of those hulls are good. I have a 22 blue wave and have no complaints so far. Think your decision here really comes down to the motor.

Thanks everyone.
