I have a group project to do for my Entrepreneur class at McNeese. We have to present a video we take of us asking an entrepreneur questions. We wanted to do something interesting and not something that will put people to sleep in our presentation. We are going to interview Shelby Stanga the Swamp Man for our project! Pretty cool I think. He sure is a character on the show.

Dudes a beast with it...I live in ponchatoula and have a camp down the Tangipahoa river and he's nuts make sure u ask about the monkey gaurding the chest of gold in the swamp and about the guitars he hangs in trees....he has a few screws loose but he's a good guy

My group and I are headed to East Louisiana to meet Shelby at his boat launch for the interview.

Shelby Stanga is a cool guy in person. We have some video editing to do but it was definately a success.

The one request Shelby and his manager had was for us to get as many people possible to go on the history channel axe men facebook page and say that Shelby needs his own show. After meeting this guy in person, I think it would be pretty entertaining. One story he told us is how the videographers always like to get certain shots. Well he said, "y'all get out the boat and film me driving by that log" he said after they got out, he said "see ya" and left the film crew. He said they were as burnt as crawfish when he got back.

I was reading back through this thread and MAN, I HEARD THE MONKEY STORY! That was the first story he told us lol. He is unique but you can tell he is a really a good guy.

I know this is an old thread and I was looking at some of the most viewed threads on SC and this is in the top 20.
