Holly Beach
Evening all. Im new to the boards.. and pretty much to saltwater fishing. Havent really done any fishing of any kind in a few years.
Anyway, my dad is wanting to go on a trip down to Holly Beach in the near future, with my and my younger brother. I havent been down there in at least 15 years, and was never very successful at saltwater anywhere I went. We will be fishing from the beach, wading and what not. Can anyone offer advice on what is the best times of year to fish the area? And any advice on bait and tackle would be a great help as well. Thanks in advance. MikeyD |

If the winds are not coming out of the north......stay home.
If the winds are light for 2 or more days during the summer.....time to fish the beach. |
Look for clean water.
Brown water is not good at the rocks. |
man thats my favorite spot to fish
|
opening night plastics will do the trick in clean water
