power pole question

thinking of having power pole installed?

Would you either:

1 - get normal switch at console and remotes

or

2 - get normal switch at console and switch at front by trolling motor (which is about $150 less than the remotes)

Turn loose of that money, tite wad. ;)

ha...I just kinda like not having to fool with the remote.....

But torn because on those days when the wind is just right, I can use the remote when wade fishing and have the boat follow me.

That's a neat idea, never thought of that.

When I went to south Texas, I would look back 1/4 mile and here comes the boat. Pretty neat. Sure saves alot of extra wading.

remotes are the way to go.

wtretrievers 03-04-2011 01:47 PM

Remote is the ticket!!!! Can be on drift stick a fish reeling & putting P/P down at the same time! Can be walking from console to front & P/P is on it's way down.

Remotes & console

speck-chaser 03-05-2011 12:08 AM

Go all the way out and get you a remote for the power pole, and an auto pilot trolling motor. Have 2 remotes, and doesnt matter which way the wind is blowing, you can guide your boat to come pick you up at the end of your wade.

2 power poles, remote, console switch is the way to go...no spin!
