Repeat Breeding!

2 Attachment(s)
Well, it's official. My female chocolate lab is again confirmed pregnant to Richard Vicnair's yellow male "Sport". This is a repeat breeding from a great litter produced last year. All pups except one from last years litter are running HRC. The only hold out is a dog that went to a service dog trainer and that one is currently in NSDA (service dog academy).

She will have her hips certified after delivery since we did not want to sedate her while pregnant (at the time of the appointment, it was unclear if she took). Sport already has his hips OFA certified. This is not just another breeding of labs. Sport went all the way to Californina competing in the nationals and is well on his way to being a dog that will be in the record books.

These pups will come w/ dew claws removed, wormed, and AKC papers. These pups are easy to train and have a great disposition. Retrive drive is great, yet these dogs are also part of the family. They know when it is time to work, and when it is time to sit by the fire and chill. Mine even keeps me from falling in the fire after too many cocktails! LOL! We are expecting delivery around April 1st and I have 3 sold already. I do not expect a large litter like last time since we did not keep them together many times. I don't like having to stess out the mamma dog with a bunch of pups and we do not do this to make a puppy factory! We like seeing our dogs produce other hunting dogs!

The pups will be $450/ ea.

Do you have anymore info on Sport and your pup? I am looking around right now and may be interested. I want one to run in field trials as well as hunt.

I will get his pedigree, already have hers. I will post some pics of him as well. If you run HRC, you will meet Sport! He is currently running his master passes.

Bellpepper- I will be the first to say that sport is a top notch dog! He is a very well mannered dog that loves his job. I know vic very well and he is not in this to make money. You will not be disappointed in these pups.

Been doing it far too long to even consider making money at it, there ain't none!:shaking:
Do both dogs have health clearances; EIC,CNM,ect.? Will any guarentees be given and if so how? Always have folks looking for "Brown" dogs.

Couldn't have said it better!!!! LMAO! We pour too much money into them to ever make a monetary gain, but I get rewarded from the work I see them do. Like blowing that whistle with a teal in her mouth, she sits holding the bird in the decoys, the hold time watching as we pass shoot another flock of teal. She is then whistled in, delivers to hand, then proceeds to await her next mark. Man, it don't get no better!!!!

I always tell the purchaser of the dog I am selling an animal, thus their is no "warranty". However, if the dog has any physical problems I will replace the pup at next breeding or refund the money. I can not refund money for a training issue, but if it is health or physical deformity, I will make it good. I have never had one returned. I did have a guy try to get a refund for a puppy that died - at 4mos of age. He could not produce his vet records for vaccines thus I told him to take a hike! And I will put this in writing!

Why would he not have Ed run him? Its an extreme step up in competition and the Open is no place for a novice handler.

Cool. Had a pro handle hawk in the open 2 times. Otherwise I ran him. More fun than watching. Thought it was an odd situation for someone that puts a lot of money into his dog and run the open and not the am. Give us some puppy pics.
