Its time for me to get a new crawfish burner and a new pot ......... any advice on where to get one around Lake Charles?
|
You might try Gayles Hardware, Academy, or Stine Lumber, maybe Sams.
|
If ya can make do w/ what ya got. Them things get cheap in the fall.

Can't wait i need a new one for this weekend........... i want a good setup that will last forever ........ any advice?

stainless steal is the way to go!!!
I love mine. bought the burner from a guy on grand isle about 10 yeays ago and the pot about 4 years ago. looks like they will out last me! |
Lake Arthur Butane and that Hardware store on Gulf Highway. I forget the name of it. Academy is probably the cheapest.
|
I bought an 80 qaurt from academy not to long ago, its not bad and was fairly priced.
Bought a burner with it i think all together it was around $130-$140 |
Stine's has the 80 quart with basket for 79.99 right now.

Unless you know that you will allways have at least one other person to help you move it . Don't buy the 100 qt pot. Bastige is to heavy to move when 3/4 full.
Its nice when cooking gumbo for 100+ folks, but the 80 qt is plenty big enough. |
market basket in moss bluff had some LSU burners
|
Went to fergusons ......... Got a 100 qt pot ,basket, burner, regulator and a full bottle of propane $275
Pot is commercial grade |
