Finally Making it to the Big Pond at Toledo
 

Going to the Bend with my son for the weekend, to fish his company Bass Tournament, been waitng all spring to get up there, it won't hurt my feelings for some tips and hot spots, will be fishing out of Big Bass, everyone have a nice weekend and I will report on the catch, later.

wacky worm has been wackin some good fish! watermelon red magic is our best sellin color in the trick worm for 3 weeks now. i placed 3rd in a club tourney a couple weeks ago tossing a watermelon magic senko wacky rigged. they r eatin it pretty good right now, but that wind makes it tough to feel the bite. chatterbaits are catching their fair share of good fish too. last but not least, toss a topwater chugger/splasher (pop-r/chugbug) first thing in the mornin.. that bite has been pretty hot lately. good luck up there!

what tournament i will be there....im fishing one with my friend it is at big bass don't know the name of it though

been fishin tx side out of a 15ft allum boat, not to bad to get out of wind but if you launch north of indian crk you have to drive to far to get another launch. i ran from indian crk to mill crk and its not to far or just fish buck crk got some nice clean water with alot of points with stumps and found lots of good grass and cover
