SaltyCajun.com - Sat. 11th on Big Lake

Well we set out sat morning to see what the lake had in store for us and well it wasnt too bad..We caught 2 limits of reds, 9 flounder which had two four lbers "DOOR MATS"...the reds and flounder were all caught on sand eels and chart swimming mullets...We pulled out of the lake around three and called it a day...Got home and needed some revenge on the TROUT so about 9:30 we headed out with a few friends to a private warf for some night fishing...It was my wifes first time SALT WATER FISHING and I didnt get to do much I stayed baiting and enjoying watching her steadly realing them in...All the trout were caught on popping cork with shrimp and live mullet...I did manage a few on artifical salt water assasins and those new MULLET baits from academy...Tide started rolling about 2A.M and the bite was on from 1lb-6lb...all larger fish were released to fight another day....
