Bank night fishing

Won't have my boat 'till some time next year. Anyone know of a good spot to fish at night or from the bank in general? I currently frequent Mae's, but the wind is keeping me away from the beach.

I'll try anything, I get nervous when the 100% Deet makes my lips tingle! Probably not a good thing.

Try a thermocell then. As long as you stay in one spot it will do its job.

I have two thermocells I use for duck hunting and they work good when the wind isn't blowing, but if the wind isn't blowing I'm on the beach.
