And I'll remind him why I stopped him. Thats not exaclty smart. Leave it alone.

outcast 06-25-2011 03:45 PM

wont ever stop me. I dont break the law. and like most people behind the badge, they think its ok for them to break the law, because they enforce it.

Cops break the law more than anyone on the road. Speeding, unsignaled lane change, erratic driving, etc.
They're worse drivers than illegals. One cut me off yesterday pulling out from a walgreens. I slammed on my breaks and he just piddled real slow, hopped a lane over and waited until i passed and pulled me over for following him too closely.

Thats exactly what I say. Just because you enforce it don't mean you're above it. I see cops all the time off duty riding around in their cars doing well over the speed limit and violating other traffic laws, and when they're in their personal cars and break the law, its just wrong. I've seen cops and heard of when off duties get pulled over and break out the I'm a cop line and show their commission card. If I pull one over in the near future, I'm taking their card, reading it, give it back and say License and Registration please.

Good job Tim! The rest of you can fall on your Richards! Ironman, it better to be in silence and have people think you are a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

Tim, take some pics of tomorrows carnage!

LPfishnTIM 06-25-2011 05:53 PM

I'm laughing at this crap, Ironman, if you become a cop and give a retired cop or off duty cop a ticket, you won't last long! its called professional courtesy, and when cops start writing other cops tickets purposely nothing good becomes of it. I got a degree in criminal justice, volunteered my time, applied for state police, baton rouge police, and a few other smaller police departments, small ones don't pay good, brpd think they're the only legit pd around, they pay ok but look what you deal with, state police are the same, but the training is intense, if you can apply for PD and go thru the hiring process, pass the physical part and the 6 month academy you can have that job, me I got tired of all the crap to get in, all the crap to get a $15 or less an hour job! not worth it for me, I make more than money than that and I'm safe!
