Had a bag phone through Sprint for many years. Kept that thing as long as I could. I could make a call from anywhere.

Love fishing the lights during the summer.....damn the sun & heat!!!

I remember the bag phones! What about these???? Just canceled my service on it last week! ;) man you were the #%€¥ if you had one!!! Like carrying around a brick!

FASTshrimp 06-29-2011 10:24 AM

had one in high school, i could make calls from the wax, the basin, just about anywhere. When i had mine they didnt even have phone plans, if you used it, you paid for it. if it was on, you paid for it.

My old bag phone is up in the attic. I was the only thing that would get signal back where I hunt in the Atchafalaya basin.

Kenner18 06-29-2011 07:24 PM

I had a bag phone from Mercury Cellular ,that was the good old days when you could actually make a call . This modern tech really sucks .

Last year i got rid of a bag and her phone ...lol

trophytroutman 06-29-2011 07:35 PM

Nice .

Will"E"Fish 06-29-2011 08:45 PM

Bag phone never dropped a call with the other party in the car right in front of you.The problem is know a day's phone's today only .o8 of watt power. Where a bag with a external antenna wold work 20 miles offshore to Lake Charles with no problem. O were's my SC cash for this thread?

inchspinner 06-29-2011 09:47 PM
