Bass Pro Shop

Went to the Katy and Pearland Bass Pro Shop this weekend and was disappointed. To me the one in Hammond is bigger and better. Am I the only one that feels this way or does anyone else feel this way.

I assume you are talking about Denham Springs and not Hammond. The one in Katy is bigger/better than the one in Pearland, the Woodlands new Academy store may be better than the Bass Pro in Pearland. Yes I agree with you that the Bass Pro in Denham Springs is bigger and better than both of the Houston area Bass Pro's. Houston did not have to pay Bass Pro to come to Houston like Denham Springs did but that conversation probably is one we could have in the political section.

Yes it is and now they expect it. The only time they don't get any is when I go up for a surgery. They have to wait until the next week after I know I survived. ;)

LPfishnTIM 07-04-2011 12:42 AM

spent ~$125 today, on fishing license, mud boots, flounder gigg, and a light to go around my head!

Been in BP and cabelas but still can't figure out how they make money considering their overhead. I would prefer to order online or shop local with folks I know. Cabelas did not shut everyone down in Gonzales like everyone first thought which is a positive in my book.

I use to live about 2 miles from the one in Katy, and I'd do the same thing all he time. Haven;t been to the one in Denham or Pearland to compare.
