Sunburn Remedy

Figured I'd post this here since saltwater fishin is when I get the worst burns. When you get home and right before you bathe, take some white vinegar and soak a rag with it. Pat the sunburned area and let the vinegar soak in. Usually my eyes burn from the vinegar i put so much on my face.

It will take the heat away and the next day, you feel about 10% of what you would have normally felt from the sunburn.

A buddy of mine swears by shaving cream but I have never tried it, I cover myself real good before I go out for the day & reapply sunscreen several times a day.

if i put it on as soon as i get in the boat, i'm good. If i forget, its all over. Even if I remember after, once I'm fishin, I won't stop.

Mine turns red, then turns tan, then peels off.

X2. I keep it in the boat but once I start fishing I hate to stop and put it on. Usually pay for it the next day...

biggest reason i don't use sunscreen. once you start sweating, the sweat/sunscreen builds up under your shades, or the fumes do, and then its crybaby time. .

X2! my nose is what catches hell.

Vinegar does work & so does wet tea bags......both draw the fever out.
