I managed to get off work early to go meet some of the Salty Cajun family but when I get in my truck I hear my phone going crazy in the consol so I pick it up and it's my boss telling me I need to call my wife cause her grandfather has stopped breathing. I call my wife and I can not understand anything cause she is so upset. So I hurry to Paw Paws house and there he is on the floor nothing more they can do for him. Not sure what happened. Maw Maw was taking a nap and woke up to find him like that. There was not a day that went by that he did not call my girls to ask them how their day went and to tell them he loved them. We have been awake for almost 40 hrs and I have not shed a tear in front of my wife or the girls cause I am trying to be strong for them untill my girls asked if they could write a letter for him to take to heaven. They said only my wife and I could read them and I fell apart. This is their first close familly member to pass and it is very hard. Please cherish every minute with your loved ones.

Man, so sorry to hear about yalls loss. That is tough. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear this Justin. My gradfather and I were very close. He left us almost 14 years ago and he still crosses my mind almost on a daily bassis. You and your family hang in there. Each day a little pain will leave you. Takes time!! I'm feeling your pain and sending some prayers upward for y'all. Holler if I can do anymore than that.

I lost my paw paw 18 years ago and I give 100 present credit to him for the man I am today.now I have a grandson of my own and hopefully I can show him the same things my paw paw showed me. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family especially your girls.

You, your wife, & girls are in my prayers. My papaw has done the very same thing since I was a little girl.

I'll be praying for you and your family. The innocence and questions of the kids will really make you break down. Stay strong for your family, but you may need to get off by yourself and have a good cry. Just the fact that you and your kids know he is in heaven and you'll be reunited with him again someday will lift you up tremendously. I feel truly sorry for people that do not believe this.
