Jeff Kolodzinski completed the marathon fishing event as part of Fishing for Life, a non-profit organization that exposes kids to the outdoors and creates a sense of community through fishing. The new record is now 2,649 fish caught in a 24-hour period. |

Do cast nets count? If so I have the new record! I caught at least 5,000 mullet and pogey last night in deatonville.:rotfl:

Last week when I was behind Grand Bayou, some cast I could hardly pick up the net.
