:pissed: Just got a call from my dad. We (my dad, brother gf and myself) are planning a trip to Florida starting this Thursday and coming back Next Tuesday. Here's the dilema...... My cousin, whom is 16 years old has a drivers license, dependable vehicle and $ for gas, is wanting to ride with us to Baton Rouge. Mind you, we are all going in a 2005 Chevy Crew cab truck (fitting 4 people comfortably). My aunt (Dad's sister) is wanting us to bring my cousin to Baton Rouge to meet her other aunt which will bring her the rest of the way to Florida. Problem is that the other aunt that lives in B/R has crawfished more than "W" has. Im thinking we are going to have to bring her all the way to Florida with us. What would you do in this situation ?? I was thinking of having my cousin ride in the back of the truck on the way to Baton Rouge. I mean, it starts getting above 100* around 11:00. Would you be upset ??

It won't cost anymore in gas, give them a ride if you need to. I really don't see a problem! :confused:

Just remember that this is family, and it doesn't matter if you think they wouldn't do the same for you still be the bigger man. There's alot of times i've had to bite my tounge with me or my wifes family, but i still would stop at the drop of a hat to help them out.

I would actually not be too thrilled either. I'm a bit claustrophobic.

5 people in a crew cab shouldn't be hard at all if she's under 400#! Wait till ya have kids! A stretched limo isn't enough room for everything!

i didnt take anything wrong. Im a big fella, my dad is twice my size, my brother is a bigger fella that is mentally handicapped and is severly claustrophobic (SP?)

Then don't. I have a side of my family that thinks we all owe them something. Well, 3 of my cousins from this side turned out ok with one working Government job, one on his 3rd enlistment in the Air Force, and one woking in Belle Chasse. Sometimes you just gotta say no.
