first BL trip

New to this site, have enjoyed reading all the post and learning alot about the lake and the entertaining banter between you guys!!! My lady and I are heading that way on 8/27/11 to fish with tripple J charters and are pumped! Hope to get to run into a few of yall at the bar at Heberts. Be great to put a face to a name or two. Plan to stay a few days after out charter and fish in my boat, any suggestions on where to head that ime of the year? Thanks

You should try to make it this weekend as well. You'll get to meet a BUNCH of us!

Welcome aboard!

We are thinking about doing that, sounds like yall are going to have a blast! Do you know Josh with tripple J charters? He came recomended by a friend, sounds like a good guy on the phone. Not looking to grab trophy trout, just want to relax and put a few keeps in the boat.

You will walk away with a ton of knowledge about big lake and trout fishing. Top notch guy

Thanks Meaux, glad to hear that, been wanting to fish BL for awhile, but always helps to go with a guide that is fun and can show us a few things about the lake.

Great news Fool, glad to get a good report. We rented a camp for the week, and plan to burn some fuel and beer learning the lake. I fish Vem, but BL is the trout meca. Time for me to learn it! Yall are a great group, thaks for the info.
