fishing Saturday -- need help

I will be fishing with my adopted handicapped, blind, deaf, diabetic, bipolar grandma who only has 1 week to live. It is her lifelong dream to catch an 8 lb plus trout. So, in her quest where should we fish saturday morning? :grinpimp:

To be fair, here is the report I gave Don for his show on Saturday. The theme is the channel and honestly it should say from the washout south. Good luck.....

"Strong southwest winds have made fishing Big Lake very tough over the past week, fish are still being caught in the ship channel from Turners bay all the way to the jetties. Almost all fish are coming on live bait (it is that time of year). There are still several very large schools of bullreds in the center of lake, look for diving birds and or shrimp jumping out of the water. The schools are on the move so you cannot drop anchor and will need to use your trolling motor to keep up."

Is live bait good on reefs or just near the channel?
