Hey Montauk,
What's the deal with the cove area and trout? I've tried fishing it in my kayak and I've seen a dozen boats out there in the winter, but on my depth finder it just seems like a huge flat area about 8' deep. Is it an oyster reef or something like that? I am admittedly new to fishing so the fact that it's not very deep and doesn't change much puzzles me. I'd love to have more luck at Cypremort point since it is the shortest drive for me. |
alot of people fish the rock jetties in the cove. When you come out the ramp to your left
