Update from Cypremort Point
Tropical Storm has gone but winds still remain. We had some flooding from the tidal serge down at Cypremort Point but I have seen a lot worse everything is back to normal and I am ready to hit the waters again. Winds should start calming down in the next day or too so I will be back out of the water chasing some trout and redfish. The river had jumped up but now is falling again and the water salinity had dropped down but that is starting to come up again so the fish should be on the move. On a different note I have been keeping abreast on what NOAA Fisheries have been talking about with the possibility of reopening Red Snapper season because the quota for recreational and commercial season was not met. Since the quota of the commercial was not met they will attached that onto the recreational quota and possible reopen the season. I believe we should here something later this month if it will reopen or not. I hope it does because we were catching some huge snapper at the end of the season and I am ready to go back after them.
