Cypremort point trout action
 

My sons birthday was this weekend and he decided for his birthday he wanted to go offshore and catch some Amberjack and Grouper but since the weather had other plans he had to settled for a trout trip. We started fishing about 8:00 this morning and at 92 fish later which was high noon I made the call to come back in since I was going to be cleaning for hours. The fishing was unreal as soon as your bait hit the water you had something. We had fish flopping all around the boat I could barley get all the fish in the chest fast enough before my son was pulling more fish into the boat. We had a mixed bag of White Trout and Specs. You could have filled up a boat with White Trout today and we had plenty Specs that we had to release because they were a hair under 12 inches. Cypremort Point is hot right now.

White trout at the pass
 

Fished Sat. from 9-1:30, caught 75 white trout a few specks and some kind of small jack that fought real hard for its size. the jack had yellow and white color, maybe a horse eyed jack, not much bigger than my hand, caught about 10 of them and released. A bigger one would be a fight

Fished in the pass but not on any reefs.
