Sand blasters on platform this hitch
 

Looks like a week of Fry Rice, Chicka Egg Foo Yung, Egg Rows, Fisha Eye Ball Soup. I am her with 4 little orientals for a week. Wish it was their sisters!!!!

Our caterers are starting to use Philipino labor.
They suck. One out of all of them can barely cook. The rest are have no idea how to cook, but they make them cooks. Our leadership don't do anything about it, even if we complain. We are getting a good deal with the cheap labor I guess.
All they cook is Philipino ****. They don't have white rice. THey have brown rice and tan rice.
They are uneducated and very stupid. You show them something wrong, they do it wrong for the rest of their life. They won't change.

I really hate when blasters on on the platform. **** flying everywhere, busting ESD lines, not to mention the fine abrasive dust lingering in the air.
Good luck with that mess.

Blasters we have build tents to blast in. They capture all dust and sand, put in drums and send in. We do get some dust outside tents, but not much.
Our blasters are good guys. Our caterers leave a lot to desire.

Pox actually I think it is baRR??? Man just one day and I have sand in the crack of my *** already, I know it will be in my bed. I took some pictures of some stuff they cooked. If I can I'll post it, "Want sommm You", at lunch time.

Aahh, I don't miss the days of SAND FLEAS overtaking the platform...

I"m a "cracker Dago" and dannnnm proud of my heritage/culture. When people call me Dago, I tell them to **** or I will get Guido on them! You know as well as I do, when people of oriental decent speak English they have a unique dialogue. It's not a sterotype, it's just comical. Doesn't matter if they are Korean, or Chinese, or Phillipino - they butcher the English language, just like we would do to their's if we tried to speak it.

I am *****ing about the Philipino cooks. Not Asians in general.
I love most Asian food. But hate Philipino cooks we get offshore.
The companies who hire them get the bottom of the bucket and
therefore pay them squat. Saves everyone money, but our food
really really really sucks, and I like to eat good food. My opinion,
if you pay for food, it should be good. Caterer and company just
see $$$ signs.

I have no issues with any blasters I have ever worked with offshore
in the past 28 years. We have a permanent crew of blasters, they
are treated just like the rest of us, they treat us the same.

Could be worse we had a whole crew of " South of the Border " blasters workign on the platform during the World Cup, their team lost half the crew broke out into fights and I thought the other half was gonna commit suicide off the platform.

Don't worry I'm not trippin, they are hard workers and bust *** at what they do. They keep to themselves and feed many mouths on the measly pay that they receive for the labourous work they do.I'm 5'10 190 lbs and working 14_18 hrs a day working that biig blast hose wears me out,so imagine how those 5'4 100 nothing guys do it. I'm just saying they are there temporarily,and I bet they would appreciate it if others appreciated their hard work.you all know when they come and go,your platform is looking brand new.sonoco on the other hand, is a whole nother story

Oh yeah I didn't mean to anything other than that accent is killing me. I am hard of hearing and then they say all this stuff so fast, I can't pick up on it. I am joking with them to their face, there are 4 of them one of me, believe me the joke is going both ways. I won't type anything on a computer I wouldn't say to anyones face I can guarantee you that. Don't matter where they come from.

That's who I am talking about. When Visa is up, they send some of them to Mexico, till they can come back. Cheaper than sending back home.

GIS has some good Philipino workers, but I don't agree with hiring some non Americans for general labor and welders when there is such a high unemployment rate here in our country.

I wouldn't complain if they got some cooks like at Hong Kong or Asia here in Lake Charles.
