A trip this morning to Avery Canal a ways from the mouth yielded a limit of nice drum and two reds. Windy with clear water. Shrimp on bottom.

Nothing wrong with that....I busted my saltwater virginity fishing that area. The last channel marker before you hit the intracoastal canal is a good lil spot for reds on a falling tide. Technically that area is the delcambre canal, but Im sure you know the area if you launch in delcambre.

Thanks for the report. Did you get a chance to see what the water in the bay looked like?

Cove and trash pile has really good water. Could see about a foot all weekend.
