We had a 1-2 hour window this morning before the wind picked up. Slow start at our first three stops (just picking at the trout). Our fourth stop was the jackpot as we had the yellow-mouths in the 15-17 inch range hitting the ice one after the other. The fish can't get enough of the Cocodrie Cocahoes! The best color's today were the Coco Pepper, Mardi Gras, and avocado light. Under a cork, double rigged, or on a spinner bait....it didn't matter as the fish could not resist them!! No other bait needed as nothing compares to the Cocodrie Cocahoes. We fished birds and reefs, smaller fish under the birds. Great company and great fun with these guys. Always a pleasure fishing with Lonnie and his guest. Thanks again, and look forward to seeing you Saturday Lonnie. Capt. Marty LaCoste 985 856 4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
