Stupidest thing you've done...
 

I see this forum is labeled "The camp"... well I was out at my uncle's camp last wed-sun.... and we got to talking about just round-about stuff and shooting the crap. The subject of "The stupidest thing's you've ever done" came up.... Tell me some of the stupidest things you've ever done.....

I'll start... One stupid thing that sticks out in my mind.... I had just bought my first truck.... I was 17, just got my license... was taking my cheerleader G/F and my best friend to school one day... Thought I would show off with them in the truck... Hit a patch of mud on the right hand side of the road and spun tires all across the road in a fish-tail action and ended up hitting the ditch on the other side of the road pinning my driver door against the embankment (SP?).... Needless to say, we sat and waited for someone to come by... (this was a less-traveled road)... There was a local electrical truck coming our way with the big boom attached to it on the top, well we managed to find a chain so he could yank us out... some to find out, he's a retired state trooper and calls his buddy (who is a state trooper also) and got him to come and write me a ticket for wreckless driving... what an A-hole.... but mom and dad never found out.. !!!!

ummm...involves a bar, me and 3 of my guy buddies and running from the cops...that's all I'm saying...:*****:

well...im still young...but...4 of us (me and a few Seniors in high school) decided to go froggin...2 boats...come the end of the night we was trying to catch gar fish bare handed...came back...with 2 frogs and ..1 boat..other boat decided it wanted to "leak"....i left/forgot a few parts out?


all in all..it was a fun night...got up next morning to go play in a golf tourney :shaking:

omg...:shaking: well...first summer out of high school in Lake Charles...went to a local bar with my 3 best guy friends to meet up with my girls...there about 2 hours, we went outside and some guy started hitting on me and my guy friends didn't find it amusing...this jerk punches on of my boys and I go running in the bar to find some of our other friends cuz they are getting jumped out in the parking lot...we all run outside, fists flying everywhere...some guy shoves me, my friend punches him, I jump on his back and start whailing on him...Next thing I know people are screaming the cops are coming, somebody picks me up and throws me over their shoulder while i'm steadily trying to kick the guy that shoved me and we jump in the truck laughing our butts off...cops pull up, we pull out, they follow...we lost um thank goodness...good times...:*****::*****::*****:

Six drunk dumbies + 1 12' flatbottom boat + 2am trying to check trotlines in the river. Ended up flipping boat, not catching fish and having to go diving for the boat the next day. Was not fun.

I got half way to work one time before I realized might boat was still hooked up from the day before. Man I was rollin too, passing other people on a 2 lane hwy probably cutting them off with the boat! :eek:

well my tarpon rodeo drun driving wasnt the stupidest thing..although some of yall wont agree...but this happend a couple of months ago...me and 2 buddies decided to go bow fishing in the go-devil...well lots of bud light was involved..even before we left the launch at Breton Sound Marina...its like 12 midnight and we get out to mah spot about 2 and a half miles from BSM...and shut the motor off and start push poling...shoot a few redfish and realize the lights are going dim...wow!! why are the lights hooked up to the battery and why is my generator not in the boat...well my friends didnt know nothin about no generator..but hey wat are friends for..well i knew it wastoo dead to crank so it wasnt a suprise when i cranked it and nothing happend...lets just say that was the longest and the hardes 2and a half miles of my life...push poling in soft mud all the way to the MRGO..then i realize its already 5 am and guess who had to pick up mom at the airport at 8 am...me....well against my better judgemetn we all 3 tied a rope around ourselves and swam the boat the 500 yards or so back to the marina..we are lucky we didnt die that night..ive seen numerous people drown trying to swim in the MRGO..it wasa very dumb..

Well...this one time, in band camp...

A while back I loaded up my boat and was gonna make an all nighter fishing trip across the lake with a buddy of mine. We spent all day catching bait and getting ready. I put my boat in the water and headed across the lake. When i got there i noticed that the boat was filling up with water pretty quick, so first thing i checked was the the plug, and it was in.. So after debating on what to do and 6 beers later (about 12 or 13 total) we decided to head back in and check it out. A trip across the lake for me is about 30 minutes. So when i pulled my boat back on the trailor i noticed that the "other" plug (my boat has two) had backed out with the rough water and i hadnt checked it. My buddy called me a stupid azz for the rest of the week.

Today goes down as the funniest/stupidest thing i've done
