V-Bay close in
 

Fished V-Bay today around noon for flounder and reds since the water reports were all bad from last weekend. Fished around the Point and into the cove for some trout. Caught a few on plastic's mostly tighlinned close to the bottown

Great report! We got there in the afternoon and it had slowed down, only caught 1

Going back again this morning before the front comes thru and the water gets dirty again. Parking lot was full at the CP launch but only a couple boats in the cove yesterday.

Fished the cove in the yak this morning 7:30 - 9:30 am, then the wind started howling and made it tough to stay in place. Water looked good early but was starting to get a stained by the time I picked up. Managed a bakers dozen in a couple hours. Lots of boats headed out to weeks thru shark bayou.

Nice catch....I think I saw you yesterday. You drive a nissan truck? I was messing around on the bank at the state park. All I caught was a buzz.
