Hog hunting!!!
This may have been posted before but it sure looks fun!!!

That would be cool to show up at a food pantry/food bank with 30 hogs in the back of a pickup truck . Better yet make prisoners at local jail clean them, then bring to feed the hungry.....On that note ,have they already done the Cleanout Your Freezer/Hunters for the Hungry event this year?
|
yes they have, But ,call the food bank and they will probably still be happy to accept fish and game.

Thanks Bob

Thats awesome!! I tried to book one of these hunts last minute last month, didnt happen.I was told you have to apply for a permit to shoot a gun from a chopper and it takes a few days.
What do you think hes shooting? It looked to be stationary. |
Did it this past weekend in George West TX. If they don't have a fixed mount for the gun you shoot buckshot. They had two helicopters go down this year because the shooter turned to far and shot the tail rotter!!!!!! Everyone onboard died in both incidents.
|
Damn! I didn't know they actually had hunts like that. It must be pretty expensive.

The guy that owns the ranch hired the helicopter to do the annual deer survey from the air. We convinced the owner we needed to thin out the hogs. It's around $600.00 per hour or $10.00 per minute!!!!!!! with a 2 hour minimum. They bring the chopper in on a trailer towed behind an F-350.

thats awesome !!!!!!!! I'd like to do that------definately writing it down on my bucket list !!
