Live Bait
 
If weather permits I'm going to make a long trip out of Cameron La.. Whats the tricks to catching live bait for Tuna in the winter..

at night around platforms, with amber lights preferably, in 40 to 50 fathoms. light tackle with about 6 small jigs, like speck rigs, the bait fish will usually be less than 30' down. The bait fish you are targeting are called chub mackerel about 8" long. Tuna love them.
