Hit the water today riding shotgun with SaltyShaw. Got our limit of trout and a few reds pretty early under a few sets of birds, then went after some flounder. Flat fish were there but so were a 100 other boats and waders after them and it wasn't worth the hassle. Talked all day about gettin a new rod and one tailgait slam later when I got home accidentally sealed the deal breaking off about a foot of my rod tip. Had a great time on the water today.

Texans are wading the ship channel also

Yep there lined up north of the ferry and south of the pogy plant. Fuggers are everywhere!

Did not know that flounder were that popular.....I just trade trout for flounder at the landing

I've never seen so many waders lined up half of them with knee boots on standing in 3 foot of water!

As for the flounder they can have that stuff man im not wasting gas goin down there no more

You can catch just as many flounder in the old river as on the channel. ,,,,,, that's were my dad use to catch them

If we would have been in my old boat "M/V Larry" today we would have swapped paint with some inconsiderate d-bag. We could have went all Monster Jam on them.

Well gotta go to salt water rehab facility for a week guys gotta get a little shut eye. Good luck this week Shaw, thanks for letting me tag along today.
