Bad morning in Klondike

Hunted in Klondike this morning. With the wind and cool weather I thought it would be another quick hunt. Boy was I wrong. Saw very few geese move at all this morning and the few that did fly did not want to even give me a look. Ended the morning with 2 specks

I'm on my way to west carroll now... Wish I could do some hunting while I was up there though

I think if I went this afternoon I would kill, but I'm just going to let the blind rest. Besides I have too much to do to go on a hunt this evening

Low cloud sealing this afternoon and no birds moving.

Thanks for the report, I'm sure since I'm not hunting tomorrow they will pile in our field

I would take 2 specks being outdoors anyday over being at work in the concrete jungle.

Saw lots of specks in sweetlake this morning.....but we still scratched. We had more groups work than we have been getting, but they kept turning off at the last second. I think we definately set a record for teases though.

Current totals for our sweetlake blind: 5 hunts 3 birds(2 ducks 1 goose)
Hope it picks up soon.

They had a lot in the field south of the highway. We are just north of the highway. The few birds that flew came from that body and we have never had much luck pulling them right back down after getting up about 1/4 of a mile from us. From what I hear that marsh south of us is the place to be for some good duck action

How'd the water situation work out for yall, last you said was the marsh on side was pumping, judging by the birds you've been killing, it made it fully into yalls!
