Toledo Bend duck hunting
 

Anyone on here ever hunt up there? When I was up there 2 weeks ago there were ducks everywhere and I have talked to some other guys that said they have seen a lot of ducks so I am just wondering if the hunting is good there and what all would be involved.

Never duck hunted it but there are a bunch of birds!!! Look out for the eagles!!!

The duck hunting is awesome up there right now. We went this past tuesday and wacked them suckers in the blue lake area.

i bet tuesday we saw 100,000 just grey ducks it's unreal. Not counting all the mallards, pintail, a **** pot full of canvasbacks and redheads. The ducks are there for sure.

is this average for the number of ducks there or has this been a better then normal yr? I have a place up and may look at doing some hunting there next yr.

managed to scrape up alimit by 12.30 almost late ducks have moved out u can get your self in lost of trouble quick canvasbacks are plentiful they need to raise limit to six .

Up at the camp on Toledo, fished out of Pirates Cove this morning, couple of hunters were coming in just after 8:00 with their limits, heard several reports of thousands of ducks around La. Island area
