Prien Lake 12-3-11 morning
 

Me and a buddy went to Prien this morning. Launched at 210 around 7am and headed south of the bridge. Saw birds working as soon as we got under the bridge.
Buddy started catching on a chicken in a chain swimbait under a cork. I tried topwater and caught my first three ever on topwater! It's true what y'all been saying too, they were bigger fish than what was coming on the cork. I would have had more but on the fourth strike my leader broke and there went my lure. It was an orange and blue color but I forget what brand...gonna hit academy to look for more.
Later we went down by the country club and caught some on glow/chart sand eels. We ended up with 11 trout and we were back I'm the road with plenty of time to get home to Lafayette and BR for the game.
Awesome day and once again this was my best day so far, caught 7 myself plus my two personal best specs.
