12-9-11 Cold Weather but Trout bite is on FIRE!
2 Attachment(s)
Hit the Lake this am around 8ish to find some trout with Johnny and Dale Miller. We hit the first spot and started drifting and collecting fish in the box. The bite wasn't fast and furious but it was steady and producing some nice trout! Ended our trip around noon with a limit of Yellowmouths and 1 red. Water was not very clear but fishable and stayed around 55-56 degrees most of the morning, had to slow the action down a little with an 1/8oz jig head trying to keep out of the reef. Water was also low again today and weather was chilly!!
Caught everything on glow/chart Diet Mullet Jr.s they seemed to want that paddle tail more than anything. Good luck to all out there this weekend! |
